Start at the Beginning
Yoga is universal, and anyone can do
it - no matter how young or old you are, no matter how unfit you consider
yourself to be. Do those pictures of super-thin models in pretzel positions on the cover of magazines have
your mind in knots? Do you think to yourself, “I’ll never be able to do
that—I’m not flexible enough for yoga!”?
Well, neither were those magazine models when they first started. Whether you're a couch-potato or a
professional athlete, yoga will help you in so many ways. Your size and fitness
level doesn't matter because yoga adapts to you. The idea is to explore your
personal limits, not to strive for pretzel-like perfection. The truth is, in
yoga, like anything else: you have to start somewhere. Allow
yourself to be a beginner. Allow your
body (and your mind) to ease into the practice and you’ll be amazed where it
will take you.
We cater to first-time yogis

classes to suit all styles and needs, and if we don’t then we will set up a
personal class just for you. We understand
that trying something new can be daunting and that is why we created the Active
Sol Beginner Yoga Workshop! We'll stick to the basics – no experience necessary, we promise (and no, you don't have to be
pretzel-like!).
